Hydraulic Power Unit – Wave Generator for Research Tank

This Hydraulic Power Unit drives a large paddle which creates realistic sea conditions in a testing tank. It features three 75 horsepower pump-motors and two 10 horsepower circulation pumps. It uses a Proportional valve to vary the wave height and wavelength. Instrumentation includes a water content in oil sensor, electronic level sensing and electronic temperature and pressure sensing.
